  ANH Belt Boxes

Note that the 1/2" strips used to make the "lid edges" are only 1/16" thick. They shouldn't be any more than that or your lids will look too chunky - and it will throw off the dimensions of your belt box, which, after assembly, should be (according to the info I've gathered) 4 1/2" X 3 1/8".

These measurements are total ASSEMBLED measurements - not the measurements of the pieces. Does that make sense? Possibly not. What I mean is this. If you cut a panel for the front that is, say, 1/4" thick, and you glue the 2" side pieces to the bottom of the front panel edge you will get a box that is 2 1/4" deep. You will need to adjust for the thickness of material you are using.

Note: If you are going to use this to assemble a set of boxes, for each box, you will need to cut two of each pattern piece.
