Maia is one of the four Sith Training Temple administrators. She specializes in historical and replica costuming and has worked as a consultant and costume designer for both stage and film. Accurately reproducing Darth Vader’s armour for herself was a challenge she couldn’t resist.

Her screen accurate, 90% scale, ROTJ Vader armour is primarily scratch-built, though the helmet, shins, and chest armour were not made by her. Maia's areas of expertise are the construction of the leather and fabric components of the costume. Over the years, her armour has gone through several modifications, and the original cloak is now her daughter’s favourite blanket.
